A Testimony from Parents!

Dear Ma'am/Sir,

I would like to provide some feedback to Ms Fernandes who teaches Kannada in class 1-B in which my daughter Ketaki Gurjar studies.

Firstly, I really appreciate Ms Fernandes’ teaching method. She makes children repeat phrases and letters loudly which makes them get used to the sounds of the language. I found this method to be really useful. This will help children start speaking and understanding the language a lot faster.

A good balance of spoken and written Kannada: Ms Fernandes teaches how to read and write letters and along with that has also started teaching simple but useful phrases like ‘Good morning’, ‘I am studying in Grade1’, ‘My name is‘.

I found this method much more meaningful than just teaching them letters and standalone words.

I would like to thank Ms Fernandes for taking this approach and dearly hope that she continues this way. I also would like to state that along with Ketaki, I am enjoying this class too and have learnt a bit of Kannada along with the children! Keep up the good work!
